Amazon is currently testing a chat bot for shoppers to make shopping simpler. The AI called Rufus is under development and available to a select group of people to test shopping and ease of use. AI has been the Centre of attention for the last year as it is known to be the future with all organizations developing AI and to implements its use in day to day lives of people. In an instance one of the people who got to test the AI chat bot was put to the test when asked to search for a trainer for a bike. The AI was able to pull the list of the best trainers available when given the make and the model. Eventually when asked if this trainer would be compatible with other bikes, the AI was unable to respond and had no answers showing limited information in its server. But since the AI is still under development, we can expect the final version to be much more accurate and helpful to peoples shopping experience. As a 3PL center we can predict it will enhance the online shopping experience, help analyze sales patterns and solve problems quicker with chat bots.
